LA PI Gets Restraining Order Against the Quaids
LOS ANGELES - Randy and Evi Quaid are facing a restraining order from a private investigator who previously worked for the couple, the celebrity blog Jam!Showbiz is reporting.
Hollywood private eye Becky Altringer was hired by Evi last June before the relationship soured and she stopped working for the pair.
Altringer alleges the Quaids have become threatening towards her, and requested a restraining order against them at Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday.
Altringer tells RadarOnline.com, "Randy and Evi are bullies and criminals. They get away with s**t because Randy is Randy Quaid. I've been in this business for over 15 years and I have never seen the s**t I have seen with the Quaids. I can't find justice in our judicial system so filing the restraining order has been the only justice I am getting...
"Randy is a well-known famous person and people are scared, or don't want to cross him. I'm a nobody compared to him and I feel I have to take my story to the masses to be heard. I feel that I can't let them get away with bullying, threatening and intimidating people just because of who they are. I have to fight back in any way I can."
The private investigator alleges the Quaids made harassing calls to her on Monday.
