The fees Ross Investigators charges are an extraordinary value. Some investigative agencies charge more, some less. Few provide as much for the money. And all clients are provided with a project cost estimate before work begins. Clients receive copies of all documents collected. If the project is completed under budget, clients receive a refund. No work is undertaken beyond the initial budget without client authorization. There is no mark-up on expenses.
PROCESS OF SERVICE: $50, plus travel time and mileage, and charges for investigative time if investigation is necessary to locate.
TRAVEL: $50/hour.
ADMINISTRATIVE/WAIT TIME: $50/hour.
SPANISH TRANSLATOR: $50/hour.
SURVEILLANCE: $70/hr. per operative (if you don’t know where the subject is going, we use two operatives to minimize the chance of detection and maximize the chance we get the desired information), plus 55.5 cents a mile. Minimum retainer: $1,000.
EXPENSES: All expenses are billed at cost, except for mileage, which is billed at the standard IRS reimbursement rate (55.5 cents a mile for 2012).
A retainer fee based on the projected time required to complete the assignment is required for all new clients, but clients can limit the work to a specified number of hours.
